Live Alternanthera ficoidea Party Time, also sold as Joseph's Coat or Calico Plant. A compact foliage plant with hot pink and green splashed leaves that keep their color indoors in bright light.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
One live rooted Party Time starter plant in a small nursery pot, packed carefully, with basic care instructions included.
WHERE IT WORKS
Bright windowsill. In good light this is a real houseplant, not just a summer annual.
Terrariums and vivariums. It stays small, likes humidity, and the pink reads well against green.
Fairy gardens and small containers. Compact habit with strong color at a small size.
Outdoor pots and borders in warm weather. It is not frost hardy, so bring it in before cold nights.
CARE
Light: bright indirect light to part sun. More light means stronger pink.
Water: keep the soil lightly moist. Do not let it sit in standing water, and do not let it dry out completely. It wilts when thirsty and usually perks back up after a drink if you catch it in time.
Soil: well-draining potting mix.
Shape: pinch or trim to keep it bushy.
Cold: protect from frost and freezing temperatures.
ABOUT LIVE PLANTS
Size, leaf shape, and variegation vary from plant to plant. Pink coloring shifts with light, temperature, and growing conditions.
Some lower leaves may yellow or drop in transit or after a move. That is normal. With good care it will push new colorful growth.
SHIPPING
Plants are packed with the pot and media secured. I ship early in the week when possible to avoid weekend delays. Please bring the package inside as soon as it arrives and unpack gently.
